30+ years of go-to-market experience taught me: it's easy to focus on the wrong things. There isn’t a formula to go to market– I help teams find what works best for them.

30+ years of go-to-market experience taught me: it's easy to focus on the wrong things. There isn’t a formula to go to market– I help teams find what works best for them.
My Philosophy:
How do you extract the best go-to-market signal from all the conversations and activities you do and then stand out in the market? That’s the work I do with companies. As a former product and marketing leader across B2B and B2C, my perspective as a board member and partner is unique. We use your market context to find insights together, then I help you translate them into actionable tactics for immediate use.
Experience:
I spent 30+ years as a marketing and product executive building and launching market-defining software at Microsoft, Netscape/AOL, and Loudcloud–but what I really loved was taking those lessons and applying them to startups. My approach can be adapted to any context, as I share in my book, LOVED: How to Rethink Marketing for Tech Products (now in six languages), UC Berkeley’s Masters in Engineering program and SVPG workshops. I got both my MA and BA from Stanford University.
A Little More About Me:
My passions are biking (road, dirt) running, XC skiing, snowboarding, triathlons and wake surfing. I’m a proud Mom of two adult kids, perennial fan of the original Star Wars universe, love Truckee, traveling, eating good food and watching movies or TV with my husband, Chris Jones.
